Sr Solutions Manager
The Sr Solutions Manager has accountability for leading a multi-functional work team with the goal of developing winning, accurate, implementable and profitable contract logistics solutions.

Your role on the team:
- Manages a client solution through scope discovery, gathering data, modeling, internal review, and client approval
- Develops client transportation management system solutions including billing, reporting and visibility
- Guides the business and organization through product setups, integration best practices, and client interviewing strategies
- Defines and justifies the business case of the Solution to the customer and internal groups
- Documents the technical and functional specifications of the TMS Solution and reports to appropriate internal and external groups
- Serves as the subject matter expert on TMS packages including Mercury Gate
- Interfaces with other supply chain systems including warehouse management systems to facilitate a comprehensive solution across business units
- Presents proposed solutions to customers and senior leadership
- Develops client product offerings in partnership with external and internal developers
- Leads client meetings as the Subject Matter Expert
- Produces and updates client solution design throughout the sales cycle and handover to implementation
- Manages client expectations by providing expert functional and product recommendations
- Leads the relationship with Business Development in identifying or qualifying leads
- Manages Solutions Engineers, Analysts, and Managers to include: interviewing, training, performance evaluation, coaching, and guidance
- Other duties as required and assigned
What you need: (requirements)
Experience
- Minimum 6 years related experience and/or training with Transportation Management Systems, supply chain, or 3PL; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 4 year’s experience with Mercury Gate TMS product
- Prior management experience preferred
- Operations experience preferred
- PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
