Your role on the team:
The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for managing accounting personnel and overseeing the accounting operational functions, including corporate business unit projects, and assisting in the compilation of consolidated financial reporting results.
Communicates and coordinates monthly financial statement close process for global enterprise
Approves/posts routine and non-routine monthly journal entries and allocations
Assumes responsibility for the accounting accuracy and completeness of the corporate business unit, including account reconciliation analysis and approval, for the following: Prepaids, Deposits, Accrued Expenses, Investments, Payroll, Stockholder’s equity and Inter-company balances
Communicates with personnel to resolve accounting issues and assists in understanding and eliminating accounting discrepancies
Assists in compilation of monthly financial statements (consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statement)
Assists in the preparation of the OHHAC and OHHC annual audited financial statements
Coordinates with external auditors to prepare PBC schedules and other audit requests on a timely basis
Manages employees including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluation, and coaching
Monitors team productivity and distribution of work flow
- Other duties or special projects as required and assigned
What you need: (requirements)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a 4 year college or university
Minimum 5 to 7 years Accounting experience
CPA preferred
PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
