Your role on the team: (job description)

  • Review of compliance issues, manage and complete compliance task; review inquiries and make
  • determinations as to corrective actions
  • Assist with financial monitoring and reporting; coordinate information for payroll processing;
  • coordinate data gathering for audits; oversight of payments and reconcile hours and earnings
  • each bi-weekly or weekly payroll.
  • Payroll communication, evaluation, creation, review, and delivery to customers.
  • Communicating actuals, trends, & variances of payroll reporting data to payroll managers & leadership.
  • Compile Ad Hoc Reports from payroll database & provide recommendations of findings.
  • Assist with GEODIS payroll by ensuring all garnishments and child supports have been entered into the system.
  • Provide correspondence to the courts of new hires, terms and to TMs of garnishments/child support.Balance amounts of child support/garnishments to the wage collection detail.
  • Solve employees’ toughest issues end-to-end with respect to all payroll pay and deductions.
  • Assist with payroll mailbox, prepare payments to agencies not supported by payroll system

What you need: (requirements)

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook Experience with Kronos and UKG preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Tax
  • Understanding of payroll concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of Federal and State payroll regulations

  • Ability to read and interpret financial documents and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak and present data findings before groups or employees of the company
  • Ability to identify key indicators and deal with complex problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace and high-demanding environment
