Job Description

Job Duties:

 ·         Performs product and order inspections per Customer standards

·         Perform internal compliance audits

·         Perform record review and approval for Value Added Service (VAS) functions

·         Ensures product is labeled correctly and meets GMP requirements

·         Perform random audits of inventory accuracy

·         Assist with product quality holds

·         Monitors and inspects both in-bound and out-bound shipments for accuracy and quality assurance requirements

·         Record inspection results and communicate errors to immediate supervisor

·         Create summary reports from inspection data

·         Perform quality inspections for returned product

·         Assist with external compliance audits

·         Manage employee ISO training requirements for assigned accounts

·         Identify problems, collect data, and make improvement suggestions

·         Participates in quality improvement initiatives

·         Other duties as required and assigned


·         High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

·         Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training

·         Exposure to warehouse management systems preferred

·         Exposure to FDA and/or ISO requirements preferred

·         PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word ,and Excel

·         Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions, short correspondence, work instructions, and quality records

·         Attention to details


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The incumbent must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving vehicles and can be exposed to extreme heat or extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
