Your role on the team: 

  • Processes invoices within procurement system 
  • Creates and monitors purchase orders and change orders 
  • Participates in software asset management (SAM) processes to ensure user licenses are managed properly and forecasts additional needs 
  • Maintains SOWs for contractors and monitors invoicing to compare actual vs budgeted hours 
  • Researches and resolves conflicts concerning materials, services, or accounting issues at the department and vendor levels 
  • Monitors the IT capital budget and work with IT leaders with capital request submissions and reporting 
  • Reviews IT contracts and proactively monitors for policy and process compliance as well as upcoming renewals 
  • Continuously reviews efficiencies for the Procurement process

What you need: 

  • Minimum 3 years related experience and/or training 
  • 2 years experience in Excel 
  • Great Plains experience preferred 
  • Experience in using P2P systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers 
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence 
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
