Project Logistics Coordinator

Your role on the team:
- Handle assigned tasks for the Project Logistics Plan (pricing, booking, reporting, etc.)
- Resolve issues arising before and during the transportation of goods
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the completion of transportation projects following the agreed terns between the customer and Geodis
- Handle unexpected situations during a service delivery execution or following modification from the client
- Communicate information relating to the logistics of goods (facilitation / movement-transport / terminal / warehouse / storage / other related services to customers) and the various stakeholders
- Ensure customer satisfaction and manage arrangement and final delivery needs
- Establish and control pre-billing elements
- Gather and process data and information related to transport services; domestic; import; export; cross-border, all modes as needed (air / marine / land / rail / courier)
- Check documents relating to PL activities and integrate elements into the appropriate TMS and other systems
- Perform activity reports on changes in flows for management
- Evaluate goods transit times in order to reduce them
- Abide by data management principles and guidelines, ensure data quality
- Act as an interface between the company's various departments (logistics, inventory management, business development, deliverables), as well as suppliers, service providers, distributors and carriers' information system
- Alert management and the relevant departments in the event of malfunctions relating to the flow of goods
- Participate in cross-functions projects
- Support GEODIS’ programs for Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Ethics, Compliance, CSR and Sustainability
- Other duties as required and assigned
What you need:
- Ability to use systems, tools, and databases
- Ability to coordinate and supervise logistics processes such as transportation, processing, warehousing, and material handling
- Ability to plan resources and activities to achieve specific objectives within a defined timeframe, involving elements such as scope, budget, schedule, communication and stakeholders
- Ability to ensure that all products, services and/or operations meet the company's quality standards
- Ability to comply with all relevant specifications, policies, standards, regulations, and laws
- Ability to observe, research, and interpret a subject
- Ability to stay focused, manage your time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- Ability to focus on achieving specific goals and outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively, support others, and contribute to team success
