Job Description


;The Maintenance is responsible for the maintenance of company-occupied buildings including: troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance based on customer needs and requirements.;

Job Duties:;

  • Analyses and diagnoses customer equipment problems and breakdowns
  • Recommends the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problems
  • Makes appropriate equipment repairs or modifications to solve operating and performance problems as dictated by the analysis of the customer’s equipment
  • Performs scheduled equipment maintenance per customer contract
  • Follows all scheduled maintenance procedures and policies as dictated by the company
  • Documents each service call, providing the necessary paperwork
  • Observes all safety procedures, makes certain that hazardous waste is properly disposed
  • Other duties as required and assigned

For food accounts, incumbent is responsible to report food safety problems to senior management to initiate action.


  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
  • ;Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training
  • Experience in electrical, plumbing, building systems, HVAC, and general maintenance
  • Experience with power tools, lifts, and hoists
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form


While performing the duties of this job, the employee ;is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. He/she is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. He/she must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.; He/she is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
